Centre closure

The Family Place will be closed on Thursday, May 31st and Friday, June 1rst due to Sports Day weekend in Mount Albert. We are open regular hours on Tuesday and Wednesday and will be back to our normal operating schedule as of Monday, June 4th.

The Family Place at East Gwillimbury Farmer's Market!

We will be at the East Gwillimbury Farmer's Market in Sharon for opening day on Saturday, May 26th. Come on over to meet us and find out about our programs and resources. Craft activites will be set up for the children. We look forward to seeing you at the market!

A trip to the Fire Station!

Join us on Wednesday, May 30th for a fun filled trip to the Mount Albert Fire Station. The fire station is located on Princess Street in Mount Albert and we will be meeting there at 10:30 am. Please let Susan or Christine know if you and your children would like to join us on this great trip.

Magna Hoedown 2012!

We are absolutely delighted to announce that York North Family Resource Programmes has been chosen as one of the recipient charities for Magna Wild West Hoedown 2012. We look forward to working with the other charities to make Magna Hoedown 2012 the best it can be!

Spring Session 2 Programs begin May 7th!

The Spring Session 2 programs begin the week of May 7th, 2012. Offered this session is Little Chefs on Monday, Art Blast on Tuesday, Let's Get Ready for Kindergarten on Thursday and Fitness Fun on Friday. The programs are free of charge for all Family Place members and $10.00 per child for non-members. Space is limited to maximum of eight children per group so be sure to reserve your spot. The Family Place joins Neighbourhood Networks!
